This kits gives the turner the best of both worlds a fully adjustable Pen Mandrel which cuts out the need to use spacers and a Mandrel saver which applies the pressure evenly across the surface area of the mandrel locking nut cutting out the risk of bending the Mandrel shaft when using a standard tapered revolving tale stock
